  • Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.
  • Develops and implements effective healthcare recruitment strategies and sourcing channels to attract qualified candidates.
  • Develops effective channels to recruit healthcare candidates which include active and passive sourcing as well as building networking relationships with key stakeholders within career offices of local colleges and universities.
  • Builds and maintains network of potential healthcare candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management.
  • Proactively searches candidate databases for and connecting with potential talent.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, including position requirements, qualifications, and desired skills.
  • Provides guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and hiring decisions.
  • Manages full cycle recruiting responsibilities to include creating and managing job postings, opening requisitions in the ATS, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting applicant interviews, scheduling interviews for hiring managers, providing candidate summaries to hiring managers and extending offers of employment.

What do you need to be considered...

  • High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and full-cycle recruitment of both exempt and non-exempt positions. In-depth experience sourcing talent using a variety of tools and tactics.
  • Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with a fully customizable Applicant Tracking System preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical required.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
