We are currently seeking a talented, motivated and detail oriented Resource Manager to be responsible for overall oversight of assigned Resource Video Monitors and Resource Specialists. In this capacity, the Resource Manager will provide constant visual monitoring (oversight) of the Damar Campus to ensure compliance with Damar policies and procedures. During critical moments, the Resource Manager will ensure appropriate resources are available and provide immediate training, corrective direction and support to staff members.
Quality Services/High Quality Staff
Manages all employee functions of assigned staff including recruitment, on the job training, E-time, coaching and mentoring, performance appraisals, and performance management functions.
Complies with HIPAA guidelines by maintaining the confidentiality of video recordings and protecting access to the video recording and monitoring room.
Ensures safety, security and surveillance for Campus during assigned shift accomplished through vigilant monitoring and active interactions with staff.
Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations for all Damar programs serving as a leader in de-escalation and/or intervention as needed.
Takes appropriate action regarding any events that affect the mental and physical well-being of the residents, including but not limited to, providing client and staff support, informal training and crisis management.
Maintains written documentation of all pertinent information occurring during assigned shifts and promptly routes important information to appropriate personnel.
Ensures policies and procedures are followed by employees and takes prompt and appropriate action to correct violations.
Ensures the integrity of the incident reporting process by collecting incident reports in a timely manner, escalated issues identified immediately to the appropriate management personnel and correctly enters incident reports into the electronic database.
Collects and reports staffing ratio each shift. Collaborates with management personnel to ensure adequate staffing ratios.
Ensures that all activities, services and programs through Damar are conducted in a manner that is sensitive to and shows respect for the cultural and ethnic diversity for all Damar clients.
Serves as back-up to Resource Phone 1 including:
1. Remains in video monitor room most of shift, when possible.
2. Coordinates resource team assignments and responsibilities.
3. Serves as point of contact for emergency preparedness.
4. Collects information regarding critical incidents and immediately contacts Administrator or Clinical on Call for additional responsibilities.
When assigned, administers medication and pack medications for residential clients.
Adheres to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook, Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual, and Resource Code of Conduct.
Takes pride and ownership in Damar’s facilities and assigned work areas.
Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.
Completes and updates mandatory training, including resource quarterly training, and other licensure related items in a timely manner.
Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible.
Completes incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client.
Ensures that the Agency meets its quality improvement, evaluation and reporting requirements.
Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices and service delivery.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Seeks the best use of materials, equipment and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances.
Respects the culture, diversity and rights of all clients, their families and the community.
