Currently, we are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist.  The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of the Agency through day-to-day support and creative asset execution, including writing, graphic design, content creation, website design and social media management. Working with the Vice President, Marketing and Communications as well as external Agency support partners, the Marketing Specialist will help manage all creative assets, ensuring alignment with the organization brand.  INDHP123


Quality Services/High Quality Staff
• Works with advertising and media agencies with day-to-day support and execution of creative deliverables.
• Manages the Agency’s internal communications app and social media editorial calendar, as well as develops e-channel initiatives.
• Manages print and digital asset inventory to ensure creative alignment across all marketing channels.
• Leads the execution of approval processes, including uploading of all final marketing and creative assets.
• Seeks collaboration and buy-in from stakeholders to develop the most effective communication assets.
• Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational
Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Takes pride and ownership in Damar’s facilities and assigned work areas.
• Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.
• Meets a minimum of weekly with Program Manager and/or Program Director
• Completes and updates mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner.
• Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible.
• Completes incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client.
• Ensures that the Agency meets its quality improvement, evaluation and reporting requirements.
• Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices and service delivery.
• Utilizes data collection in relation to driving and tracking outcomes and achieving Agency initiatives and goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Seeks the best use of materials, equipment and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities


• Must have demonstrable skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as WordPress.

• Basic SEO understanding, Google certification preferred.
• Ability to follow and execute specific verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to promote and maintain positive interaction with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Must be outgoing, organizing and self-initiating.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills important.
• Flexibility in hours as evening and weekend work may sometimes be required.


Minimum Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, mass media, or related field with three years of experience in Communications or Marketing.
• Minimum age of 21 depending on program and / or department requirements.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Must meet background screening requirements of program(s) assigned to.
