Our team has multiple job titles/roles for candidates with eligible Master's Degrees to choose from:

  • Intensive Behavioral Intervention Associate: An Intensive Behavioral Intervention Associate is responsible for providing direct behavior management consultation services to clients, staff members, and family members. These services include client observation, the development and documentation of specific behavior management plans, direct intervention with clients, education and training for staff, and service coordination, among others. Our IBI Associates work primarily with clients on our main campus, located on the SW side of Indianapolis, IN.

  • Behavioral Health Diagnostic Associate: A Behavioral Health Diagnostic Associate is responsible for a variety of duties related to case development, treatment plan development and implementation, and crisis intervention in individual treatment of clients. This role is responsible for providing individual and family therapy, group support, crisis intervention, as well as other support services to assigned clients. Additionally, our Behavioral Health Diagnostic Associates will assists the treatment team, including the Director of Intensive Behavioral Intervention Services, Stabilization and Treatment team, Outpatient team, and other members as designated, in the evaluation of clinical services. Clients served are primarily on our main campus, located on the SW side of Indianapolis, IN. 

  • Behavior Management Level II Provider:  A Behavior Management Level II Provider is responsible for providing direct behavior management consultation services to clients, staff members, and family members. These services include client observation, the development and documentation of specific behavior management plans, direct intervention with clients, education and training for staff, crisis intervention, and service coordination, among others. Our BMAN team works with clients that live out in the community.

Remarkable ways you will be making a difference:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university required in Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Counseling, or applicable discipline
  • Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification
  • Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification
  • Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
  • Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
  • Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening

Essential Job Functions:

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
