Join us in delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families in our community. Damar is looking for a talented and motivated Phlebotomist to join our team! The Phlebotomist is assigned to our Damar Health Servics Clinic and our Children's Residential Campus on the southwest side of Indianapolis. This persion is responsible for safely and accurately collecting blood samples from patients while providing a calm, supportive experience—especially for children and individuals with developmental disabilities. They work closely with clinical staff to ensure proper specimen handling, documentation, and infection control, while communicating clearly and compassionately with patients and families.

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws following safety and infection-control protocols
Provide a calm, patient-centered experience for children and individuals with developmental disabilities
Properly label, document, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing

Essential Job Functions:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
