We’re seeking a full-time Pharmacist who will play a key role in interpreting prescription orders, packaging, labeling, dispensing, administering, and distributing medications and medical devices. This role also ensures compliance with DEA, AAAHC, 340B, and other accreditation standards.

  • Collaborates with providers on medication
  • Ensures QRE’s are properly
  • Participates in site meetings to address patient care and operational requirements, including one-on-one communication.
  • Interprets, fills, and verifies
  • Counsels patients on medication
  • Monitors drug therapy in conformance with OBRA
  • Performs medication review and recommends alternative therapies as
  • Responsible for medications received, drug storage, inventory control, pricing, and record maintenance.
  • Properly handle and process expired and returned
  • Supervises staff and workflow
  • Prepares employee evaluations and applicable
  • Conducts employee coaching
  • Facilitates the professional development of Accepts responsibility for maintaining and updating knowledge of all new and existing policies and procedures and participates in education of staff.

What you need to be considered...

  • Current and valid Indiana Pharmacist license
  • Certification in immunizations
  • Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
  • Ability to pass and maintain CPR certification.
  • No felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
