Damar is seeking a Residential Program Director (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst) who is excited to oversee clinical operations at our newest residential location in Richmond, Indiana. The Residential Program Director will be responsible for the direct oversight of all clinical services in the residential ABA program. In this role, the Program Director will supervise and support all BCBAs who serve clients in our Damar East Children’s Residential Treatment program.

Remarkable ways you will be making a difference...

  • Ensures that consistent behavioral-based treatment occurs for clients through ongoing training of client’s identified support network.
  • Participates in clinical staffing for clients.
  • Supports the training team’s efforts to ensure all identified team members obtain RBT certification.
  • Interacts professionally with parents, school, medical personnel, and others using only excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices, and service delivery.
  • Participates as needed in CFTM, Flash Meetings, and discharge planning of clients served in the Residential ABA Program at Damar Services.
  • Directly observes clients among various residential units and group homes at Damar Services and provides clinical recommendations when appropriate.
  • Conducts initial assessments and writes treatment plans for new and current residential clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Coordinates the hiring of new employees to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Implements, coordinates, monitor, documents, and evaluate measurable treatment goals.
  • Keeps abreast of current treatment technology, literature, practices, and regulations.
  • Is supportive of client reunification plans and/or transitions to and from Damar Services residential program.
  • Uses strategies outlined in the Practical Functional Assessment and Skills Based Training for clients beginning ABA services.
  • Utilizes Behavior Skills Training.
  • Evaluates opportunities for ABA services to grow and expand.

What you need to be considered...

  • Master’s Degree and BCBA or Doctorate Degree with BCBA-D.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams.
  • Previous experience in Autism Services required.
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical.
  • Must meet background screening requirements of program(s) assigned to.

Essential Job Functions:

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
