Damar Services is looking for a talented and motivated Intensive Intensive Foster Care (IFC) Clinical Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and providing behavioral interventions for intensive mental health and behavioral services. The IFC Clinical Supervisor assists the Director of Intensive Foster Care Services with oversight of clinicians and staff within IFCS and is responsible for maintaining and reviewing clinical documentation for all services provided. In collaboration with the Director, the IFC Clinical Supervisor co-leads a multidisciplinary team supporting high-acuity youth in out-of-home placements and co-leads the IFC Crisis Response Team, providing crisis interventions to IFC youth and families as needed. Additionally, the IFC Clinical Supervisor ensures that IFC providers and services comply with the current IFC Service Standard as outlined by DCS.

  • Serves as a member of Damar Services’ interdisciplinary team.
  • Must be willing to be trained and certified in Family Functional Therapy (FFT).
  • Attends mandatory staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Completes intake assessment for all new IFC referrals.
  • Provides client specific training to the team and caregivers.
  • Ensures Intensive Foster Care staff are prepared to support the youth and family.
  • Uses Behavior Skills Training (BST) to train, model, observe, etc.
  • Remains available and approachable to Intensive Foster Care Team for questions, concerns, or ideas regarding client programming or behavior interventions.
  • Provides direct clinical oversight to assigned caseload of clients.
  • Regularly reviews client data and graphs in order to make swift decisions and ensure client success is being made.
  • Completes individual treatment plans and behavior intervention plans using the principles of ABA and/or principles of FFT.
  • Updates each assigned client’s plan of care goals at a minimum of every 6 months.
  • Remains knowledgeable of each assigned client’s plan of care and its progress and adjusts plan of care when sufficient progress has been made or a lack of progress is seen.
  • Completes relevant assessment tool on assigned clients.
  • Selects a clinically appropriate assessment and/or curriculum for each assigned client.
  • Conducts Practical Functional Assessments as needed.
  • Collects baseline data for an appropriate minimum before determining a function or definition of behavior.
  • Ensures the Agency meets its quality improvement, evaluation, and reporting requirements.
  • Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices, and service delivery.

What you need to be considered...

  • Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required. Full licensure preferred (LMHC or LCSW). Will consider license eligible candidates based on experience (LMHCA, LSW).
  • Minimum 2 years’ previous experience with autism spectrum disorders preferred.
  • Must be license eligible for one of the following: LSW, LMHCA, LCSW, or LMHC. Full-licensure preferred.
  • Must participate in Family Functional Therapy (FFT) certification.
  • Familiarity with DSM V diagnostic criteria, and mental health symptom screening. Experience with Microsoft Excel. Ability to read and interpret psychological evaluations.
  • Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements.
  • Ability to pass and maintain CPR certification. 
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.  
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).  
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical required

Essential Job Functions:

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
