Join us in empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism. Damar is looking for a talented and motivated Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team onsite on our main campus, located on the southwest side of Indianapolis, IN. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for developing and implementing current and future strategies for the billing team. The Revenue Cycle Manager will contribute to the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the billing function and collaborate with General Accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing and payments. Additionally, the Revenue Cycle Manager will supervise the team and overall function of billing and collections.

  • Manages the investigation and resolution of billing discrepancies and errors.

  • Facilitates provider relations and training, claims analysis and education, provider quality, and practice transformation.

  • Create, implement, and ensure compliance with written billing procedures and additional procedures for all programs.

  • Ensure the organization is aligned with the required billing standards due to program development and new state or federal regulations.

  • Partner with leaders to streamline billing services and documentation across all departments and the financial team.

  • Provide external consultation and training regarding provider Medicaid enrollment and billing setup.

  • Implements processes for billing third party payers to ensure compliance and collections.

What you need to be considered...

  • Master’s degree required, preferably in social work, business management, finance, or applicable discipline. 

  • Medical Billing

  • Minimum of 1 year of providing supervision

  • Minimum of 1 year working with external stake holders, credentialing, and contracts.

  • Minimum age of 21 depending on program and / or department requirements.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.

  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
