The Village Hospitality and Events Specialist serves as the lead for hospitality and oversees the coordination of all events and activities at the Damar Village Activity Center and Clubhouse- a high quality, affordable living community designed especially for individuals facing some of life’s greatest challenges. This role works in close partnership with event staff to plan and execute both internal events for Damar clients and external community events held at the Village. The Village Hospitality and Events Specialist is also responsible for community outreach to promote the Village as a premier event venue for community rentals.
Schedule: This position will require flexibility in schedule, but often maintain hours of 12 pm-8 pm, Tuesday-Saturday, or something similar. Occasional alternate hours as events and meetings require.

Essential Job Functions:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
