Join us in empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism. Damar is currently seeking a Director of Learning and Development to join our team. The Director of Learning and Development will set a strategic vision for the education of staff by creating, expanding and adapting current program offerings, including compliance / licensure, new hire training, new manager training and professional development training at both the individual contributor and management levels, and external training programs. In this capacity, the Director of Learning and Development will lead all needs assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training and employee development programs for Damar. The Director of Learning and Development will also interact with our senior leadership team to respond to training and development needs with an emphasis on driving an agile work environment, adjust to the changing needs of the business as well as deliver best in class training and development solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
