Remarkable way you will make a difference...

  • Researches and identifies new government, healthcare, corporate foundation, and private funding prospects to match the organization’s priorities.
  • Generates high-quality proposals, narratives, applications and supporting documents in response to solicitations consistent with all policies and procedures of Damar Services, and the requirements and guidelines of the funding agencies.
  • Generates revenues for Damar Services service lines and programs through timely submission of well-researched, well written and well-documented grant proposals.
  • Maintains primary responsibility for grant schedules and tracking grants.
  • Serves as a liaison to all funding agencies and organizations.
  • Works with appropriate personnel to research, develop, write, and submit letters of inquiry, concept papers and grant proposals.

What you need to be considered...

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 5 years of experience as a successful grant writer, with experience with government and/or healthcare focus.
  • Proven record of securing major grants with certifiable references.
  • Understanding of government and healthcare grant application, submission, approval, and management of funds.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
