Damar’s ABA program begins with an evaluation that includes a full assessment of each child. Observation time, parent interviews, and the appropriate assessment tools are used to create an individualized treatment plan in order to meet the unique needs of your child with autism. Our services can include:

We are currently seeking a Program Director to join our highly skilled ABA Program. The Program Director is responsible for the direct oversight of all clinical services for assigned ABA clinics. In this role, the Program Director will supervise the Clinic Managers, Program Managers and Program Coordinators.

  • Provides direct clinical oversight to Clinic Manager and Program Management team.
  • Works with Clinic Managers to coordinate the hiring of new employees to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Attends meetings, conferences, and workshops as recommended by the Director of ABA Services
  • Participates as a member of Damar’s Leadership Team Meeting.
  • Manages all employee functions of ABA therapists, including recruitment, on the job training, coaching and mentoring, performance appraisals, and performance management functions.
  • Directly monitors Program Manager productivity levels and addresses issues as needed.
  • Provides direct therapy when needed.
  • Participates in clinical staffing for clients.
  • Keeps abreast of current treatment technology, literature, practices, and regulations.
  • Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances.
  • Ensures that all billing sheets are completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Communicates with billing agency in regard to submitted claims and any changes to billing.
  • Implements, coordinates, monitor, documents, and evaluate measurable treatment goals.
  • Ensures that consistent behavioral-based treatment occurs for clients through ongoing training of client’s identified support network.
  • Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices and service delivery.
  • Utilizes data collection in relation to driving and tracking outcomes and achieving Agency initiatives and goals.

What you need to be considered...

  • Master’s Degree and BCBA or Doctorate Degree with BCBA-D.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams.
  • Previous experience in Autism Services required.
  • Minimum age of 21 depending on program and / or department requirements.
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
  • Successful completion of physical.
  • Must meet background screening requirements of program(s) assigned to.

Essential Job Functions:

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
